Blood orange

The Blood Orange IGP is a citrus fruit that represents Sicily in all respects, a little like Bergamot represents the province of Reggio Calabria.

Ideal for juices and widely used in the juice industry, it has an aroma that is often combined with that of raspberries or cherries. Its use does not stop only at juices and juices, but the extraction of its essential oils is also very important.

Over time, different varieties have emerged, including the Tarocco orange, the Moro orange and the Sanguinello orange.
